The Library recently took a big leap forward in its ability to support journal research in the sciences by increasing access to the number of journals available via
ScienceDirect from 250 to more to more than 1,500 in three collections:
- Social and Behavioral Sciences: 360 peer reviewed journals
- Health & Life Sciences: 890 peer reviewed journals
- Physical Sciences: 650 peer reviewed journals
Full-text articles are available back to 2001. A useful feature is your ability to set up a profile where you can be notified when a new issue of a journal you are tracking is published or when articles on a topic you specify are added to the database.
