As the end of the semester approaches, you're busy writing papers, making spreadsheets, creating presentations, etc. Unfortunately, sometimes computers crash, freeze or experience other problems.

The INFOPASS: How to Borrow Books From Other Local College Libraries
Attention students! The end of the semester is fast approaching ... does another local college library have a book you need for your research? Take advantage of the Library Access Project and apply for an INFOPASS. This card will allow you to check out books from most other college libraries in Western New York.
To apply, please bring your NU ID card to the Reference Desk on the first floor and talk to the reference librarian on duty.
(please note: NU faculty and staff are also eligible to apply for an INFOPASS.)

In the Library Catalog, you can limit your search to only retrieve electronic books from the ebrary collection. How? Simply click Advanced near the top of the Basic Search screen and then refine your search by choosing the Electronic Book - ebrary collection in the Limits section.

Google Maps, the new tool that creates dynamic and interactive maps, is now providing satellite and aerial images on a test basis. When using Google Maps, try this new feature by clicking the "Satellite" link at the upper right hand corner.
